gold and white pearls silk

A modern update to the classic string of white pearls, this necklace alternates colorless faceted zircon gemstones, cultured freshwater keshi pearls, and vermeil beads with cultured freshwater white circled pearls (I.e., they show thin circles around them).

price: 95.00

materials:

  • 14/20 gold-filled14/20 gold-filled wire, clasps, etc. have a thick layer of 14 karat gold bonded to jeweler's brass. It is a much thicker layer than gold plated material.
  • vermeilVermeil is gold plated over sterling silver.
  • cultured pearlPearls have been admired in jewelry for centuries. Most people are familiar with akoyas, which are cultured saltwater pearls, but there are many other types of cultured pearls, such as tahitian, south sea, and freshwater pearls. Cultured freshwater pearls are available in a lovely array of natural colors, pinks, mauves, oranges, etc., and are also available in many dazzling colors that are a result of dying. I primarily use cultured freshwater pearls, either natural color or dyed.
  • zirconThe flash of colorless zircon made it popular for use as a diamond imitation. In its natural state, zircon comes in a range of strong colors such as green, brown, yellow, and red. Colorless zircon is created from colored gemstones by careful heating.

    Notes: knotted on silk
