topaz and iolite horseshoes earring

Briolette gemstones swing freely from all sides of these Argentuim sterling silver earrings. Two white topaz and one iolite briolette hand from each end of the horseshoe. Another iolite briolette hangs in the center.

price: 60.00

materials:

  • Argentium sterling silverArgentium sterling silver is a new sterling silver alloy that uses germanium instead of some of the copper in the alloy. The metal has a nice silver color and is much more tarnish resistant than regular sterling silver.
  • ioliteIolite is a blue or violet gemstone. It is distinctive because it shows different colors depending on the way you look at the stone (this is called pleochroism). For example, it can be a strong blue when you look at it one way, and then can become nearly colorless when you rotate the stone. Iolite is not typically treated.
  • topaz, colorlessMany people know of topaz as a blue gemstone. However, in nature, topaz is typically colorless. I like to use faceted, colorless topaz to add a bit of sparkle.
